Meet our Directors

 

 

Isabel Cooke

Isabel trained for the Higher Diploma in Education at the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesberg, South Africa. She started her career in secondary education, specialising in Home Economics, Physical Science and Mathematics.  In 2000, Isabel transferred to the Nursery and Primary sector before emigrating to the UK and attaining qualified teacher status UK in 2006. 

 

In September 2005, Isabel was appointed as a class teacher at White Waltham, becoming Assistant Head in 2007 and Head Teacher in 2009.

 

Isabel has led the transition from Local Authority to Academy school with the conversion of White Waltham in 2012, followed by the forming of a Multi Academy Trust with Knowl Hill C of E Academy in 2014.

She is passionate about ensuring that all children have an opportunity to excel through an environment and school culture that has a thirst for knowledge, and creates opportunities where all are can challenge themselves and develop a life time love of learning.

Carolyn Dean

 

Carolyn has been a governor at Knowl Hill CE Primary School since 2007 and also supported the Bisham Governors team for 3 years. Carolyn has undertaken many Governor team roles including Health & Safety, Buildings and Premises, Data, Curriculum and SEN/PP. Carolyn works as a Delivery Excellence Manager for a global IT Company, supporting many different customers with a focus on Processes, Finances and Infrastructure requirements. The skills required to manage the complex data and relationships in the industry are readily transferable to the school environment, helping Carolyn support the school in many different ways.

 

Carolyn is committed to helping the Knowl Hill school team provide the best possible environment and high quality of teaching that will ensure each pupil is able to reach their highest level of achievement.

Clive Haines

Clive has been a governor for many years within the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead. He also holds the position of Schools Leadership Development Manager within RBWM. He currently trains all governors within maintained schools and Academies and also has a wide skill set that enables him to hold the school to account for the pupils it serves.

 

Clive have also be accredited as a National Leader in Governance by the National college of Teaching and Learning along with being a Governor Mark assessor nationally.

 

Clive is passionate about all children being able to learn in a safe environment and being able to ensure they have all the tools they need to develop in their education.

Jon Corbitt

 

Jon joined Bisham as a Foundation Governor and has a professional interest in strategic leadership of schools.  He is a qualified teacher, and school leader in primary and secondary phases with the National Professional Qualification for Headship.  He is the former Chief Executive of a professional membership body in education and his background is in operational innovation within schools, and Curriculum, Progress and Intervention, including assessment and tracking of performance.  More recently, he leads on Behaviour and Safeguarding in a Middle School and is a Governor of a local primary federation in addition to his contributions as a Director of AHMAT and on the Local Governing Board of Bisham.  In his spare time he is father of two, adventure enthusiast and amateur pianist.
