Meet our Members

Gordon Joyner
Oxford Diocesan Board of Education Deputy Director, Resources
Gordon Joyner is currently Deputy Director of Education with the Oxford Diocesan Board of Education and has 23 years’ experience in overseeing a wide range of school organisational matters, including the planning of new schools. He has also been a governor at various schools over the last nine years and has undertaken most governor roles in that time, including Chair of Governors and Chair of finance committee.

Hilary Hall

Hilary is Director of Adults, Health and Commissioning for the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead.  She has over 20 years’ experience in a range of governance, policy and performance roles within local government and specifically within children’s and adult services.


Hilary joined the Royal Borough in 2014, having worked previously at Bracknell Forest Council after relocating from Herefordshire.  Her particular skills are around data, performance analysis and risk management.


In addition to Bisham C of E Academy, Hilary is also Chair of Governors at Riverside Primary and Nursery School in Maidenhead.

Will Stileman

Will Stileman is married to Becca and they have four grown up children. He has been vicar of St Mary’s Church, Maidenhead [the Borough Church] since 2003. Prior to that he was team vicar of Emmanuel, Chesham for 8 years, having served a curacy in Oxford. Before ordination Will taught Maths and Religious Studies in a secondary school. He has also been a governor of St Piran’s Preparatory School for 10 years.
